Ideal Candidate

  • A Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
  • High attention to detail and organization to track multiple projects and tasks
  • Ability to self-manage and deliver results on-time and accurately to meet deadlines
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills
  • Business/Professional level verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of entire MS Office Suite, G-Suite and comfort with technology
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online with the ability to achieve QBO ProAdvisor certification

Compensation: $45,000 to $65,000 per year

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare workpapers and income tax returns for clients
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
  • Generate the financial reports using income and expenditure data
  • Handle both Cash Basis accounting and Accrual Basis accounting methods
  • Prepare and remit various state and local tax returns
  • Consult directly with clients about their tax and client accounting service work
  • Participate in planning opportunities with clients and other team members
  • Be assigned additional duties and special projects, as needed
