Our friends at the Boston Globe recently put together an informative graphic (infographic) to help guide taxpayers this year into not overpaying on their 2012 taxes. Infographics are really helpful because they allow us to visually take in a lot of data quickly.

The checklist here is broken into three sections: deductions for homeowners, deductions for financial matters, and deductions for education/lifestyle. Moreover, the list below is representative of those deductions that most people frequently overlook. Make sure you print this out or carefully study it to make sure you’re not going to miss any deductions that you should claim.
